A: Hospital Grade cords (marked with a Green Dot in the US) undergo rigorous testing for grounding reliability, crush resistance, and plug retention force (UL 817). Standard office cables do not meet these requirements for patient-vicinity use.
Q: Do Feller offer transparent plugs?
A: Yes. We offer transparent (clear) moulded plugs which allow biomedical engineers to visually inspect the internal wire termination and ground connection without cutting the plug open.
Q: Can you manufacture cables that withstand hospital disinfectants?
